At Because He Lives, our mission is rooted in more than good intentions—it’s grounded in core values that shape everything we do. These values aren’t just words on a page. They’re a way of life. A roadmap for how we serve, how we give, how we love, and how we reflect the hope of Jesus.

Here’s what we believe, and how we’re putting it into practice.

1. Live Fully — With a Purpose

"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." – John 10:10

Life isn’t meant to be survived—it’s meant to be lived. We believe that each person is created with a unique purpose, and that purpose doesn’t disappear in the face of pain, loss, or struggle. Whether someone is grieving, starting over, or simply searching for direction, our goal is to help them take the next step toward wholeness.

Living fully doesn’t mean life is perfect. It means there’s hope, even in the hard seasons. It means seeing people not just for where they are, but for who they were created to be.

We help others live fully by:

At the heart of everything we do is love—real, unconditional, Christ-centered love. The kind of love that sees value in every person. The kind that listens. That stays. That shows up, again and again.

We believe that everyone is worthy of being seen and known. That’s why we focus on widows, orphans, and those who are often overlooked. We want them to know they matter—not just to us, but to the God who created them.

To love deeply is to:

• Serve without judgment.

• Offer more than a transaction—offer presence.

• See people as children of God, not just recipients of aid.

When we love this way, people feel safe enough to begin healing.

3. Embrace the Teachings of Jesus — Sharing Boldly

"Go and make disciples of all nations... teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." – Matthew 28:19-20

The teachings of Jesus are simple, but radical: Love God. Love people. Do good. Speak truth. We’re not here to keep that message to ourselves. We’re here to live it out and share it boldly—with words, with actions, and with lives that reflect Him.

We don’t hide the “why” behind what we do. We serve because He served. We give because He gave. We love because He loves.

Sharing boldly looks like:

• Being unafraid to talk about Jesus while living out His example.

• Partnering with others to spread the message of hope.

• Creating safe spaces where faith conversations can grow.

We believe that faith is personal—but never private. It’s meant to move outward.
